A truly unique whale watching experience in the magical summer sun and everlasting daylight.
Available:
15 June – 31 July at 20:30
1 August – 31 August at 19:00
Duration: 2,5 – 3,5 hrs.
Stop by our ticket office in the Old Harbour in downtown Reykjavik where you will exchange your pre-paid voucher for admission tickets. Our sales staff will show you to the Visitor Centre / Whale Watching Centre, which is facilitated on board a converted fishing vessel permanently placed by the pier. Before (or after) the tour you can enjoy the onboard multimedia show that includes images, videos and facts about the whales and marine life. As whales never fully sleep, we can expect to see Minke whales, White beaked dolphins, Harbour porpoises and even Humpback whales on the evening cruise – just like on our day tours!
The mystical midnight sun and the nature of the bay provide a unique wildlife experience. To make the tour even more enjoyable and memorable, we often shut down the boat engines to enjoy the soothing sound of the water, the whales and the birds. If you’re in the mood for some light snacks or drinks, have a look at our onboard bar menu – we recommend the Whale Punch!
Although our success rate is high, the cetacean abundance is unpredictable and varies with the food availability of our shores. In case no whales or dolphins make an appearance on the tour, we will offer you a complimentary ticket to try again within 2 years!
Please be aware that the weather can change rapidly in Iceland and therefore the captain could decide to alter or cancel the tour on short notice for safety reasons. In this case we will contact you as soon as possible with the contact information you provide in the booking process.

TOUR AREA
Our whale watching tours are focused mainly on the southern part of Faxaflói, just off Reykjavík. Each day we scan the area for signs of whales as we never know for sure where we might find them. Sometimes we have to go far while at other times the whales are quite close to shore.
