The small settlement of Kulusuk is an excellent introduction to the way of life in a village located in the Ammassalik area. Kulusuk lies on a small rocky island between saw-toothed mountains and extensive fjords. Proudly boasting its unique features with surreal surroundings of glittering icebergs floating in the dotted Arctic Ocean. Traditional hunting and fishing are still essential sources of income for many families in the settlement.

Practical Info

We fly out from the Reykjavík Domestic Airport and check-in begins 60 minutes prior to departure. As soon as you arrive in Greenland, our guide will greet you with a sign which you can’t miss. The tour starts shortly after arrival as we want to make the most of our time on the island!

Departures: June 1st – September 6th:
June: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat.
July: Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat, Sun.
August: Tue, Wed, Sat, Sun.

Included: Flights between Reykjavík and Kulusuk, Guided village walk during stay in Kulusuk, certificate of visit upon request.

Not Included: Food or drinks during tour.

What to bring: The tour includes around a 6 km hike all in all why we recommend that you bring good hiking shoes and warm clothes.
