Imagine experiencing two legends of Iceland in one tour: riding an even-tempered Icelandic horse like the Vikings did, and walking in the labyrinth of the Sólheimajökull glacier…all in the same day!
This tour begins with a 1½ to 2-hour horseback riding tour in the spirit of the Vikings. Where we go depends on the wind, weather, and your riding experience. Newly baked bread and the soup of the day will give you some energy before we venture past the Eyjafjallajökull volcano to Iceland’s 4th largest glacier, the great Mýrdalsjökull glacier. Here, on the Sólheimajökull glacier tongue, equipped with crampons and ice axes, you will set forth on a Glacier Walk to discover a wonderland of ice sculptures, ridges, and deep crevasses sure to truly complete your day. On our way we visit the wonderful waterfalls Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss. A great combination of traditional horse riding, glaciers, and fascinating natural surroundings
Price for Children (10-15): 15.950 ISK
