PART 1 – BUGGY ACTION – MINUTES FROM YOUR REYKJAVIK HOTEL
We pick you up from your Reykjavik hotel and take the short journey to our quad biking & buggy base camp. There we’ll make sure you get all the safety and driving instruction you need. No experience necessary – so all are welcome.
From base camp, we head across the countryside and up to the mountains. The ride itself is an amazing buzz, topped only by stunning views across the Reykjavik area.
PART 2 – CAVING IN ICELAND – LIGHTS OFF, HEADLAMPS ON!
The adventure isn’t close to being over yet! Next, we’ll head for the underworld which is a hidden side of our incredible landscape. This amazing 900m tunnel is the result of an ancient, underground lava river. It’s an exotic treasure trove of colours and fascinating rock formations – as your headlamps scan your surroundings, see what emerges from the darkness!
CAVE LEIÐARENDI – MIND BLOWING!
Iceland is known for its volcanic activity across the country. This is your chance to explore the fascinating subterranean landscape of one of Iceland’s many lava fields. Cave Leiðarendi, located in the Blue Mountains just out of Reykjavik is a typical lava tube, formed by flowing lava moving beneath the hardened surface thousands of years ago. Bring the whole family to discover the hidden world beneath us. With an endless multitude of colours and jagged rock formations, the Leiðarendi caving tour is sure to give you a unique and captivating experience. This is a perfect opportunity to step outside your comfort zone and discover something completely new. In the winter time, you are sure to see some amazing icicles hanging from the cave roof on your underworld adventure. Prepare to get down on all fours. Prepare for a great tour.
